Our story
Mission on Cleaning started from a simple belief: local people deserve a cleaning service they can genuinely trust. Michelle and Sonia have both lived and worked in the Penrith and Ullswater area for years, and they understand the unique needs of properties in this part of the Lake District.
What began with a handful of regular domestic clients quickly grew through word of mouth. Holiday cottage owners found they could rely on Michelle and Sonia for prompt, thorough changeovers — even with back-to-back bookings and tight turnarounds.
Today, they manage a steady roster of holiday properties alongside domestic and deep cleaning work. The business has grown, but the approach hasn't changed: every clean is done to the same standard, whether it's a regular weekly visit or a top-to-bottom deep clean.
